"orange juice" sponsorship dried up, as it became more and more apparent that Anita's efforts were actually 'helping' promote the rights of homosexual people....and her influence survives to this day....
if only today's youth realized that the 'power of satire' can be BIG and long-lasting....and decided to put some 'satirical' effort out toward shrub and his thugs....
Anita is probably NOT on TV, because these 'miss america' types don't weather the years very well (cigarettes, abusive husbands and many divorces, diseased silicone implants, booze, oxycotin, valley-of-the-dolls, suntans, laura-bush-screwed-up-eye-surgeries, face lifts)...it all takes a heavy toll....
