(1)-The extent to which the Bush Administration has deliberately and maliciously manipulated 9/11 into an American Reichstag Fire, this to provide justification for elevation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other federal investigative agencies into a defacto secret police force under the aegis of Homeland Security.

(2)-The extent to which the real Bush Administration purpose behind the Patriot Act is NOT the protection of the nation against terrorists but rather the creation of a gestapo climate of fear and the suppression of dissent.

No matter what the ACLU does to defend us, the Bush Administration's methodical violations of Constitutional liberties are frightening many to silence. And as one who lived through the oppressions of the Vietnam Era, I testify emphatically today's computer-assisted tyranny is already far worse than anything unleashed on the public by LBJ or Nixon.
