It's pretty much impossible to kill an idea once its time has come. It's like trying to unring a bell. Our military does better when it fights against a country with a uniformed army. That's what it has been training to do for about 230 years and that's what makes terrorism such a pain in the ass. If nothing else, we'll walk away from Iraq with a better understanding of this new art of war.
