Charles Taylor's son charged with torture

The U.S.-born son of former Liberian leader Charles Taylor has been charged in Miami with torture that allegedly occurred in Monrovia in 2002.

Charles Emmanuel, 29, is the first person to be charged under an anti-torture law that allows U.S. courts to prosecute abuses committed overseas by U.S. citizens, The New York Times reported.
