13. Its no different than LA or any other big city. Chicago needs to quit trying to control its
neighbors. The problem with symbolic protests, is that the site/person protested is rarely in a position to control/fix the problem. This is a classic case of exactly that. If that gun store closes or moves, it will not impact the violence in Chicago one bit.

The current moves to ban manufacture within Illinois of certain firearms and accessories are another good example. It will be a meaningless symbolic victory for Jesse and other Chicago pols, but do nothing to their violence problems. The Illinois companies that legislation will put out of business will simple move to a more rationale state and take their jobs with them. Of course those are not Chicago jobs, so it won't matter, at least not to Jesse and the Chicago pols.
