So his wife reported the story of how the big American banks helped fund Hitler's rise to power?

That's really kind of interesting considering how the President's grandfather, Prescott Bush, was investigated for his directorship of both Union Bank of New York and the Hamburg-America Line, a company that provided Nazi propaganda.

NBC's groundbreaking coverage of this story really brought this troubling information into the mainstream discourse. And it is STILL one of the underreported stories in American media during the Bush presidency.

Apparently, the President and his family are still rather touchy about this subject. Makes me wonder if NBC was planning a new feature story with the headline: "ATTENTION AMERICA! THE BUSHES ARE NAZIS!"

So I guess we're all tinfoil hats now...
