6. Huh? Seems like the world is saying, 37 to 26, DON'T let the US take action
against Iran.

Just because they don't trust Iran, doesn't mean they want drunken cowboy criminal nutjobs in the US to deal with the situation.

Perhaps an illustration helps: I am quite annoyed by people who drive around with their radios blaring. In a sense, I feel they have 'too much power'. But I don't want the mayor to hire Blackwater to come shoot rocket propelled grenades at all loud cars. because Blackwater already 'has too much power' and I certainly don't want to see them having more power. Also, I think the loud radio problem could either be a) tolerated to some extent or b) dealt with by less extreme measures.

Sounds like you think anyone who opposes Cheney's excellent adventure in Iran must not realize that Iran is dangerous. This is fallacious. I, for one, think the current fundamentalist power structure in Iran is quite dangerous. But I think unleashing the Cheney fanatical war machine is vastly MORE dangerous, and I think the rest of the world (Russia, China, France being important examples) are quite up to dealing with the problem in a manner that is both a) effective and b) doesn't lead directly to WWIII.

Just my opinion, though.
