You really did make me laugh ---

but we've been dumb enough to let the oil industry --- the few families controlling our natural resources --- set us up for Global Warming, lie to us about it for decades ---
and we now face an end to our species and no one is sure if the planet will keep turning or also be a thing of the past.

Since the Orson Wells/Halloween UFO bit, there has always been a discussion about whether the public can handle such news. What do you think?

Supposedly, US GOV people controlling this info are split --- some think yes, some think NO!

IMO, it might really be more about powerful people in our country not wanting to give up OIL . .. give up war . .. give up control and power? Give up weapons --- Star Wars?


Also -- no . . . we're not less intelligent because we're engineered --- we're less intelligent because we're late starters. Supposedly they are a million or more years ahead of us --- some a billion years. Also, I understand we are not the only isolated planet facing this "news."
But there seems to be a coming move to shuffle us all into the cosmic community.
How do you approach this --- with fear, or with friendly anticipation?
