many Democrats (a few Republicans too)have finally realized that they have been duped. Re: Daschle - if the president tells you something to your face, your tendency is to give him the benefit of the doubt. These congressmen and senators have never had to deal with a "president" like this one before. Maybe they shouldn't have been so gullible, but they didn't have any previous experience to guide them. The voices from the wilderness were there for them to hear, but I'm sure they thought it was crackpot nonsense. I think some of them are getting "balls" now because the evidence is overwhelming and to come out and make this statement, Daschle must be pretty certain he has good information.
