Why do you assume that Iraqis can't solve their own problems? How does imposing "peace" on Iraq change anything? Will it prevent Sunni Muslims hating Shi'ites? Will it prevent Shi'ites hating Sunnis? Will it prevent a civil war further down the track?
Or do you suggest keeping US troops in Iraq forever?
Pulling out of Iraq MAY result in a civil war, but THAT is what self-determination is about. The US is the result of a civil war, and Americans are PROUD of that fact. Why shouldn't Iraqis be able to determine their own future?
