Unfortunately.

Personally I think the adage "Revenge is a dish best served cold" is a fallacy.

I've only wished karmic retribution on one person in my life; when the outrage was fresh, I dearly wanted karma to bite this person right in the azz.
Hard.

What goes around, comes around. Live by the sword, die by the sword.


That didn't happen.


Time passed, and another adage: "Time heals all wounds" came true -- at least in this (and my worst) case.
-- believe me, what happened was truly foul on multiple levels.

Anyhow, I no longer wished this person their rightful karmic retribution
Live & let live...
and just let it go

ya know?

If karma had happened when my wounds were still deep and fresh and bloody, I would have not gloated
but still, would have felt some vindication.
So when it finally did catch up, I was sad and wished it hadn't happened to them
even though it was more than well-deserved.


I guess I don't have any more of a point than what (little) I made... :shrug:

Geez, upon mulling it over, I guess I'm way more angry at Casey Anthony the lying, stealing, filicidal sociopath than I thought.

LOL After all that written above: HELL YEAH I still want her to reap what she has sown!
And I don't think that will subside much over the years. Not when she, in cold-blood, murdered a sweet little innocent and dumped her body like garbage. :mad:
