BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP)

For a second straight day Sunday, the military reported no fatal attacks on U.S. soldiers in Iraq. In raids, troops detained two dozen people they said were participating in violent resistance to the occupation, including a "targeted leader."

U.S. Central Command said raids by the 3rd Armored Cavalry in the "Sunni Triangle" west and north of the capital netted "24 regime loyalists, including a targeted leader." It provided no details on the captives' identity. ---
