CHB's Doug Thompson ran into a fuss a couple of years ago when he ran a story about yellowcake and then immediately retracted it and purged all mention of it in his site. It appeared that he had been duped by an operative of some kind, and the intention was to muddy the story of Joe Wilson by dragging in someone named Wilkinson.
Who knows how much of this is true? It's a juicy read, though, and explains some things we've wondered about.
