21. You see, this is the next step on the slippery slope in states where capital punishment is legal.

We have been executing convicted killers for a long time now, but the bar for evidence was very high, and the crime had to be really, really awful.

Now, even on the Democratic Underground, members here go, 'So we have started to target American citizens for execution even though they haven't been convicted by their peers, but rather, because our government believes it's a good idea? If you're not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about, and I don't see the problem here.'

To be 100% honest, these are the kinds of things I read here more frequently these days that make me not want to visit DU anymore.
