3. Trust? Yes, I do think
that's a good trait. Back in the Medieval Times, trust and undying faith were part and parcel of the loyal vassals, to their Lord. This is the underlying idea of the crown on the king's head. It was supposed to show that the king actually had a golden aura around his head, like Jesus or other holy figures. The golden crown was supposed to illustrate that he could make no wrong decisions, and every decision he made was the right one.

In Scandinavian mythology, the kings were direct descendants of Odin and other deities. Criticize Odin? Better not.

I still think trust is a good trait. Provided the person I rely on is trustworthy.

And that's the difference today: If we are worse off today than 3 1/2 years ago, if time and time again we see that the people who we have turned over all this trust to are in it for themselves (and plenty of others), if they ignore common sense and fire people who tell the truth, then it's time to start questioning that trust.
