...why they think Gore would be a good candidate in 2008. If you sent aside whatever anger you have about the outcome of the 2000 election, what is it in his issues and his campaign ability that makes you think he'll be successful? In my view, he was a lousy campaigner the last time (the only reason the Florida shenanigans could occur was that he failed to win a number of other states -- like his own Tennessee or Clinton's Arkansas -- that would have made Florida irrelevant) and never came up with a coherent message. This time around, he's focusing again on the environment, which is to the average voter these days, way down on the list relative to the war, health care, the economy and corruption.
