6. A sick and twisted tale
This guy will be in prison for a long time and he will be in a living hell daily. The prisoners hate child molesters and will treat him like the scum he is. As a prosecutor, he knows this and I wouldn't doubt if it was one of the reasons he tried to hang himself.

The bigger question that we have to ask ourselves is "why?". What early psychological damage was inflicted on this man to turn him into a 57 year old molester of five year olds? Some wiring is clearly off here, and our society needs to find out what and why and how. In all other aspects of his life he was an upstanding citizen it seems. The dark secret of his sexual "needs" is so bizarre and twisted that we recoil in horror. What otherwise normal adult (with children of his own no less) could justify the rape of a five year old? Where in his mind did he go with that? How did he figure it wouldn't scar a human for life? Was he callous and just didn't care - out for his own enjoyment? Did he believe that the child would benefit from it? Did he secretly wish to get caught? What the hell was this guy thinking?

One hopes that his statement about doing it "plenty" was just BS used to make a mother feel good about him. One hopes that he had never done it before. One hopes that no child was left alone with this man. One hopes...

Lord, this is a sad, sick, twisted story.
