OP-ED: Bush goes away in 365 days [View All]

I thought I could get away with not posting about this special landmark in American history. As the New England Patriots have but one game to go in their strive for perfection, George W. Bush has but one to year to continue to surpass all previous shriveling meaning of the word, failure.

Failure to protect the country from attack.

Failure to protect the Constitution from attack, and often delivering the pummeling blows.

Failure to protect the country or himself from the criminally-minded around him.

Failure to uphold any morals, whatsoever.

Failure to protect American interests at home or abroad.

Failure to be coherent or cogent in word, action or strategy. If he had any good ideas he forgot them in his rush to push extremely bad ideas.

Failure to rise to any occasion.

Failure to rise above party affiliation.

Failure to be dignified.

Failure to be respectful to anyone or anything.

Failure to be self-critical.

Failure to care.

In short, he failed to protect the American people from him.
