2. Social Security is gong to be the next
Health Care debacle. Bush failed to get the job done, it's now going to be up to Democrats. They want to privatize SS in the worst way. And unless there is huge opposition to it, this administration is the best chance they have.

The CATO Institute wrote this report ten years ago and it's been a wet dream of Wall St. to get their hands on those funds. So far, they have not succeeded. But I am waiting for the onslaught of propaganda and the lobbyists to descend on Congress once again. I think they will wait until after the November election though.

Privatizing Social Security: The $10 Trillion Opportunity

If Bush had succeeded, imagine what would have happened to all those mandated private savings accounts invested in the market? It was fortunate that he had lost enough of his political capital by then that he wasn't able to accomplish it.

But I feel certain that it is on the agenda of this administration ....

The sales pitch will intense ....
