He was even asked about it in the press and opined that they liked it (becuase they barked). There's no fabrication to that story; it's well-known and it's even mentioned on the LBJ Presidential Library site at http://www.lbjlib.utexas.edu/johnson/archives.hom/FAQs/dog/doghouse.asp (or do you think his Presidential Library is part of some hoax?)

So, I guess your statement is true. :shrug: BushJr did drop his dog and LBJ did lift his beagles by the ears.

Oh... and the earth isn't flat, either. Those pictures from space showing a sphere (oblate spheroid, actually) aren't a hoax either. :eyes:
