13. I would say the terrorists are shaping up to be the clear winner
here. Governments are shifting because of their actions - that is a given. What is fact beyond that simple statement is that Bush* precipitated the shift with his Iraq war stance and his blackmail to get Spain into the mess.

Right now, because took the world to war in Iraq and ignored (for whatever reason) the attacks of 9-11 and whomever was responsible he has allowed terrorists to multiply and now, to influence the outcome of elections. (not that I am unhappy with the peoples' vote - I just don't think it would've gone that way if not for Bush* AND the terrorist events).

Sorry, world is more unsafe, we have less money to spend on non-destructive global issues and we have severely impaired relations with most heads of state worldwide.

Terrorists ARE winning.

You and me - closer and closer to being just flat out fucked - if I may borrow a phrase from Mud Honey.
