You guys seem to forget that this is the day of electronics---you could possibly have a conversation with someone and see them over the telephone now-(LOOKED ME IN THE EYE)---My neighbor talks to his kids ever week and sees them at the same time----LIVE----from across the country---and its cheap---the tech is there and its cheap now---------
I'm not saying that this is what happened but its possible------
