76. Cincinnati, Ohio
Close to 500 people rallied on Fountain Square. Very diverse crowd. young mothers with babies, older folks, some very elderly people who could barely get around but they came to add their voices. One young couple had a dog - they'd painted a peace sign on its side with tempera paints.

About half a dozen pro-Bush people with signs were on the corner of the square. They were kind of irrelevant, I thought.

The police were pretty laid back, which is uncharacteristic for them. A few on horseback; Most just stood around the periphery watching the rally. No riot gear, surprisingly.

I think this was a good turnout, considering it's Cincinnati. :-)
