59. Yes I will
I am not a cryer. But I cried that day. Now any of you who know me, know that I am outspoken. when I zapped Katherine Harris on CNN I did it politely. When I speak on Guy James show with the exception of today because I was riled so terribly with the wingers, I usually am very thoughtful but firm.
I entered the C-Span contest because deep down I always believed that they were extremely fair and balanced and said so in my essay.
I have a Focus Group Now site which is something I had to invent for the CD because I could not affiliate anything partisian on the Vet site of United Veterans as it is a 501 C. I have since put a disclaimer on the vet site and put a link there anyway, as no one is endorsed on that CD by name.

Back to the story. Susan called and said she was going to do the interview and she had me read the essay first. I did. She then asked me, which threw me off balance, what kind of terrain did I live in? What the heck does that have to do with Vets? I told her. She then asked how far was I from Atlanta ? I told her. I tried to mention how badly the vets were being treated and it went nowhere, it was a controlled interview. It was lets, retape and stay positive sort of approach. She asked what kind of industry we had here. Duh again, what does that have to do with Vets? I managed to get in the part about going to Washington and how Clinton/Gore handled that situation of the ADA not being upheld beautifully. That was the only partisian thing I got to say.

I knew they had me once I read the essay. Could have cut me off at any point. I have since seen what they have done to the other winners. Not many questions except for those you know are clearly republican and say so. They ask about the terrain and junk like that. I am used to calling in live and speaking my mind but anything Iwould have said, would have been cut.
We went to retape three times as it was. I could not bring up my Focus Group Now Blog and it was as big a part of my essay regarding the CD as the Vet site.

It was all a scam. I called them back and wanted another interview. No answer. To date, I have not received my money..the 250.00 prize nor has that interview been shown. Now I know they went to FocusGroupNow and really know how partisian I am and that is why it wasn't mentioned. FocusGroupNow is a little bitty DU or Smirking Chimp. But it does have a lot of info on there, but nothing good on Bush. She flat out told me they wouldn't be using or mentioning anything but the vet site, What do you wanna bet when they show the interview next week, which made me look very self centered by answering her dumb questions and not an advocate at all, they won't even show the website of United Veterans of America. What do you want to bet? I have held off calling C-Span as I want to call in that day if I can get through and tell the rest of the story. The rest of the story will be what is really going on with vets. I also saw her being rude to a winner who called in the other day who was running as a Dem candidate.
