I never connected to DUers and Dolores Park as I was rather late. :shrug: But I then saw them during the march and connected. We met afterwards. I'm sorry you didn't make the meeting place. I would have liked meeting you.
I thought the crowd was pretty large. I think the estimates of 50,000 sound good but that is a guesstimate. Folks seemed more anti-Bush and the militaristic invasions than anything else.
Kerry had a booth and we're offering free sunblock in a very good natured way. They were passing out bumperstickers and pins. You could donate or not. Lot's of Kucinich supporters and a few Dean supporters.
