That's what it felt like to me.

It will go down as the most comprehensive, statesman-like assessment of the whole picture of what is so wrong with this admininstration and our country.

(and I agree, the only thing he didn't cover was the election fraud issue -- which I think was a calculated omission because LORD KNOWS that's what the media whores would have globbed on to and he'd be called a sore loser.)

He asks the people to "quickly breathe new life" into the democratic process. It was a call for people to stand up and say no.

After I read the speech (still haven't seen it)...... I felt like perhaps Gore's greatest contribution to this country would be to NOT RUN for president and serve as the conscience of the country and help lead us in our fight to "breathe new life" into the process.

We need a movement leader and it can't be a 'candidate' for anything -- they can't have anything to gain other than the preservation of democracy for all.
