Iraq handover... as scheduled.

What's the (public) plan? What's the REAL plan? What will actually end up happening?

I guess Chalabi is no longer even a sham excuse for an interrum leader. there seems to be more talk about the UN from the Bush camp. Seems that (without "cutting and running" of course), Bush's plan is to - well - cut & run. Dump the problem on the UN then blame their lack of cooperation for any future failures.

The thing is, I think we will hear less & less news from Iraq. I'm thinkin' the administration is hoping it will be ignored like Afghanistan. If the media cooperates, they could get their wish: The illusion of a semi-graceful transfer of power - while still keeping our business interests intact.

I hope I'm wrong. We need to stay vocal. Kerry needs to stay vocal. We can't let this slide like Afghanistan. That's the lesson I learned from that debacle, at least.
