I have no respect for him at all and he probably could care less if anyone has any respect for him. This administration seems to have thrived on that type of arrogance and Powell is not an exception by any measures.

He is merely trying to extract himself from any complicity in this evil, war mongering, fascist regime. But,he is the military man , is he not?

That strikes me as funny.

Won't it be interesting to see how Powell fares after he leaves. WE know Bush is set for life, and all those around him are so rich that there really is nothing to fear at all if they are all not elected or appointed next election.

But it will be interesting to see how the slobbering Powell fares after it is all over.
