Not that I'm religious, I just don't see any difference between people who are and people who aren't. People use religion (or science or political ideology or whatever) to justify what they want to do anyway, good or bad.

I saw a poll that only 28% believe gay marriages should be allowed. It seems like every time people learn to quit hating one group, they turn their bigotry elsewhere. It's a neverending battle. You can't stop hate, you can only refocus it, I guess.
