A. - Bill wouldn't want to be that far down on the power ladder
B. - Kerry wouldn't want the charismatic Clinton to outshine him
C. - Bill doesn't need the headache. He is making loads of cash and enjoying life as an ex-president.
D. - You are addressed by your last official title. So technically, President Bill Clinton would become Secretary Bill Clinton. He'd hate that.
