All the world's a stage and we mere extras ...

We stand by the roadside and cheer as a funeral goes by. We wave our flags like football fans doing the "wave"... We shed a tear - as the camera zooms in - to show our sympathy is real. We salute as the military procession goes by. We applaud and we feel better. We forget reality when we are given a small part in the play. The play becomes our reality. The truth becomes invisible as we gather in the small circle on the stage.
