81. A General Group That Shares Some Aims
Starting with the old Will ROGERS saying, "I don't belong to an organized party-------I'm a Democrat."

So we have this party that is composed of a lot of sub-groups. What makes each sub-group different from the others is that its identity comes from its number one priority. All the multiple sub-groups probably have different #1, #2, #3 or more priorities, but they UNITE in being able to share the broader and broader priorities after their own-------like we can all agree on Civil Rights, social justice, and so on--------

Just as "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds," so is an overweening refusal to WORK WITH ANYBODY for the supposed sake of INDEPENDENT THINKING. Guess what, just about everything we can think up for ourselves was probably already thought by somebody before us.

So what is the devil's-advocate point of fueling negativity for the general goal of getting our current candidate to beat the crap out of Shrub?
