As you said, they are our neighbor. Part of this country was made out of part of what used to be Mexico. We will have to live with Mexico as our neighbor if we decide to work with them or if we dont.

So why wouldnt we give them some preferencial treatment over say Sudan.

Are you saying that travel and migration between the US and Mexico should be made to be as difficult as it is between the US and Sudan?
