Bush & PUBLIC appearances
Advertisements [?]
I was trying to think...when was the last time Bush gave a public appearance, wherein anyone could attend? I can't remember a single speech he's made that hasn't been either to people giving him money or to a captive military audience. Well, I suppose there was then one on the WTC wreckage, but that's the only one that comes to mind.

Has any president ever avoided the public so carefully?
