I vaguely remember that he stayed a Republican just long enought to vote for some huge economic giveaway to the rich.
He was a hero. But I wish he would have realized a little sooner that he was a Democrat.
If I were a Senator, you can bet I'd never be so confused that I'd be a Republican. I'd also never make the mistake of voting for give-aways to people who don't need them.
