69. What are you babbling about?
The quote I responded to was this: so you don't trash the glories of the Yucatan with white man's ways.

You respond with You mean the white man has brought peace, prosperity and glories to Mexico?

No, that's not what I mean and not what I said.

Or should I extol the virtues of a pizza hut on every corner, and TGIF's every six blocks? How about some McDonalds, or a coca cola factory? You think these are assets to the mexican culture?

Why don't you ask the Mexicans who patronize those businesses if you should extol them or not?

Did you know there is virtually NO independent cocao production in Mexico? Or vanilla? It's all owned by carnation and nestle now, a swiss, white man's company. That's an example of the contribution of the whites/europeans to mexico.

No, that's an example of something done with Mexicans and 'whites/europeans'. Carnation didn't send in an army to get the job done.

Just an observation, but without going into massive detail, it seems to me that every time whites and euroes have attempted anything in other countries such as mexico, they merely exploit, pillage, loot and convert. Not a lot of benefit of any of that to anyone born in mexico.

Yeah. Sure.
