35. I read those
1. Did the Brits actually say that Hussein could attack Britian in 45 minutes? I don't recall that specific a charge being made. If they did, well, that was horseshit from the get-go.

2. I think this section relates more to the understanding that Hussein controlled the facts on the ground. They could claim that the factory was used to produce WMD and then Saddam could then clear it of evidence and invite the BBC to take a look.

I'm coming at this from an attorneys perspective (and I imagine a lot of attorneys worked on this dossiers). We tend to overload complaints and spin the information in them. So, I don't find anything shocking that this is what was done in the "March to War."

Again, none of this hides the fact that we were bullshitted into this war.
