I have been *witness* to Target in Texas donating significant amounts of money and bringing scores of employees to volunteer at Special Olympics events. It's had an enormous impact - for both Special Olympics and Target.

I'm sorry to hear that you have had to deal with some wrongful terminations on their part, and you did the right thing by challenging - and defeating - them on it. I'm not here to say they are "heroic" or above other companies categorically. To be honest, such large "Genero-Marts" simply don't appeal to me.
But I think Target does put their money where their mouth is and they have shown a commitment to the community, which viewers of the ABC special might not realize.
