Reply #83: No crowded stores here in MN [View All]

I have yet to see anything even remotely resembling a crowd at any of the stores or malls I have been to since Thanksgiving. The weekend crowds haven't materialized and the parking lots are even less crowded than they are on non-holiday weekends. As an example, a few weekends ago I was at a mall where I normally have to drive around for 15-20 minutes to find a parking spot. But this time there were only 20-30 cars in the parking lot. Like the OP, I started wondering what day it was and thought that maybe I was there too early and the place wasn't open. I was wrong. It was open all right but there just weren't any customers. Unreal. It has been like that everywhere I have gone.
I have never seen anything like this before. It seems a bit eerie to say the least.
