I sympathize with you, that's a horrible situation. If that is the kind of crap that happens in schools, then I agree with those "secular jihadists" who are trying to take the "christ" out of christmas. Those assholes simply abused using religion in schools as part of the holiday season and it is not fair to others.

NOW... If we could avoid discrimination like this, I would not have so much of a problem with semi-religious symbols (trees for example, NOT nativity scenes) and christmas carols in schools so long as, if a child requests that they sing songs of another religion, that the teacher honors that request.

Basically, if Christians (and I'm not talking about all of them, just some) could take some simple steps to respect everybody else's religion, we wouldn't have this problem.
