US Drops More Cluster Bombs On Fallujah Wednesday

American aircraft bombed specific areas in the neighborhoods of al-‘Askari, al-Jawlan, ash-Shuhada’, al-Jubayl, and the industrial zone with more than 140 container bombs, each full of hundreds of anti-personnel cluster bombs. Eyewitnesses reported that the cluster bombing stopped at 3pm local time.

Although US aircraft stopped dropping containers of cluster bombs, the American planes continued to prowl the skies over the city and were still doing so at the time the correspondent filed his report.

Meanwhile, fighters discovered the body of a youth, believed to be a Saudi, in the al-Wahdah neighborhood. The body had been disfigured by occupation forces, who cut of his hands, feet and genetalia, which were put in his mouth – an extreme case of abuse of a body. The Mujahideen took the body away and gave him a proper funeral in the southern part of Fallujah, which remains completely under Mujahideen control.

US Appeals To Fallujah Police To Take Over Are Rebuffed

Now that everything has gone haywire for US forces around Fallujah, the Americans have made a second appeal, through an intermediary, to the chief of police of Fallujah, Sabir al-Jannabi to go in and take over the city so as to save face for them.

But al-Jannabi and his aides rejected this second American plea. Al-Jannabi said, “I’m eating bread and onions, but this is the bounty of God, and I would not go back to the police if they fed me honey.”
