...hmmm, sort of like what our current administration does to us.

It is interesting that early Christians believed in astrology, and practiced it, hence the astrological references in the story of the Christmas star and the 3 magi, and according to some, there is astrological--and certainly numerological--symbolism in the book of Revelations itself.

I am not a biblical scholar but I do know there are also Bible passages that pertain to reincarnation, and one particularly intriguing verse that mentions the "silver cord" (a term I know from studies of the paranormal--astral projection and near-death experiences).

"...Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern...Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." (from Ecclesiastes 12:6-7)
