Why I don't support Obama for President in 2008

Barack Obama is young, charismatic, has the potential to be the first black Democratic nominee for President, and possibly the first black President.

That is why I absolutely oppose him running in 2008. 2008 is just too soon. He won't even have completed one full term in the Senate and the GOP will pounce all over that.

Let's give Obama some time to season, lest he end up like John Edwards and have his star fizzle out before it ever reaches its zenith.
