11. the middle classes may backlash if pushed enough but...
My understanding is that it was the bourgeosie that was responsible for the excesses of the French Revolution. People get more P.O.ed about what they once had, and saw taken away, than they do about stuff they never had.

The poor hardly ever does anything except fight amongst themselves, I'm sorry to say. They don't have enough access to be able to even create any sort of "backlash" that the upper classes would much notice in their walled castles and gated communities.

If we are waiting for the working poor to rise up, we will wait forever.

Just my humble opinion but I'm a skeptic on this aspect of marxist dogma.

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.
--John Mitchell, US Attorney General 1969-72
