11. As a brownshirted, jackbooted feminist thug, I have
to agree with that assessment. No woman can get elected in this blinkered, pig-ignorant, patriarchal country. Oh, the cities are relatively enlightened, but too much of this country is still filled with rural, salt of the earth types, (Blazing Saddles moment) you know, morons.

What this party needs to do is dump those right wing corporate tools who parade themselves as being centrists and get back to the economic populism that made it so successful in the past. Hell, even Bill Clinton knew that he had to do that to get elected, even if he did govern as a Goldwater Repugoican.

Until and unless the grassroots manages to convince the movers and shakers of this via movements like DFA, the party is doomed to continue losing elections on its pro corporate, anti labor, globalist, Repuglican lite "centrism."

When we do that, perhaps many years down the road we'll be able to run a woman for the office and win. Right now, we can't even consider her for Vice President.
