Either that, or Novak and Harris were deprived of crayons and coloring books when they were kids:

Even before Novak's off-color remark, he had caught Carville and Henry by surprise. Discussing Harris' allegation that newspapers had tarnished her image by doctoring photos of her, Novak said he had experienced the same thing.

"A lot of my trouble in the world is that they've doctored my makeup and colorized me in a lot of newspapers on my picture," he said. "So, I sympathize with her."
