17. There IS something ominous about the way he's behaving
I don't know if it means there's another terrorist attack coming, as the article seems to suggest, but you would think that Bush's handlers would try to keep him from looking too cheerful. After all, his poll numbers are tanking, with mounting casualities Iraq is going down the drain fast, the military isn't meeting its recruitment goals, the real damaging Abu Ghraib photos/videos could possibly be coming out soon, and there's the possibility of several indictments being returned by the Grand Jury. Can Bush be so brain dead that he doesn't care whether the roof caves in on his administration? Is he just a very good actor, pretending to seem nonchalant in the midst of advertsity? Or is something creeping up on the horizon that will overshadow everything else?
