At our vigil in Nashua NH we had one disruptor. He was an enormous gallook. About 6-4 with, well for lack of other words, a 'Soprano belly', and massively stupid. The freeptard was looking for a fight and was vocally taking on all challengers. Having a bit of the martial arts training, I just watched him for a while. One fellow in the vigil decided to debate him (not a good idea) and the freeptard giant latched onto him, started walking next to him in the circle, and they started verbally getting into it. This was not looking good, so I slid into the line behind the fellow debating the freeptard giant and did two things. 1) in a non threatening but confidant voice, loud enough for all to hear, I suggested that the fellow in front of me should just ignore the idiot looking for a fight; 2) I made eye contact with our freeptard, long enough for him to understand that I was not intimidated by his size or disposition at all, and then proceeded to take my own advice and totally ignore him. Our freeptard disruptor now was in an awkward situation. His chosen victim was to his side, but I was behind him. Every time he tried to focus on his victim, he lost visual contact with me. I was paying him absolutely no attention, but I was clearly in the picture somehow. It was all too much for him to figure out. He left. Poor freeptard disruptor.
