If this IS true (and I say IF cuz recently there's been a number of disinformational hoaxes going around the net, and it's always safest to research further, or simply wait and see what the many excellent scholars on this board turn up)... but if so, it really makes you wonder:

Even given the long, slow mass hypnosis America's been exposed to over the last 25 lean, sad, mean, pointless, steadily-darkening greed-is-good years, how can they get away with such EXTREME distortions? How bad has it gotten? How much bs can the average american swallow each and every day?

These are NEW questions, ones the old philosophers never contemplated... because who would have guessed it could ever come to this? This level of sheer distortion and inversion: up is down, black is white, hate is love, greed is good, crap is art, ignorance is strength, W is smart, brave and charming... the list goes on and on...
In the immortal words of Wallace Shawn:

And yet it happened...

Thanks again, PsychoDad! Eye-opening! Kicked and nominated!
