81. I don't think so....
"you have NO IDEA how big this is!!"

I really think your so excited that your not seeing this for what it is. Some bad press for Bush for a few days - yes, some monumental scandal - I seriously doubt it.

I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that this entire flap is done and forgotten about by most of the media in a weeks time. The Sunday news shows will discuss it some, but next week is "Arnold week" - and you better believe that the California recall will be much more entertaining to the American press than some leaks that might result in pressure on journalists to reveal sources - or cause "senior" officials to clam up and stop feeding them information.

"the Agency is f*cking PISSED! that is political DEATH. this is just the first salvo. there is MUCH more to come IMHO."

Hmmm. "The agency" doesn't like their budget cut and high profile lawmakers accusing them of illegal activities and wrongdoing - but somehow "the agency" has been unable to end the political careers of many politicians who have done just that. I think your exaggerating quite a lot here.

"bank it."

Hmmmm. Now where have I heard this before? Maybe after reading that Enron would "bring Bush down". Perhaps after seeing post after post detailing how the 'Bush Knew' story meant "Bush was toast". Or it could be after the 'Niger-Uranium' story broke - but just before the entire saga completely dissappeared from the media two days later.

Every White House has a few scandals. They don't normally last long unless the story is constantly fed. With reporters unwilling to reveal their sources, Novak out defending the administration and Bush's own Justice Department running the investigation - I just don't see how this thing lasts more than another few days.

"its coming. we will ALL be vindicated"

Yes, your right, but it won't be because of this story. When that happens it will be bacause the Democratic Party ran a good candidate with a smart campaign strategy that defeats the GOP across the board come election day. People are right to be happy when Bush gets bad press, but should not pin their hopes on every single media flap that comes along - it just causes such dissappointment a few days later when the major media has moved on.
